Happy, happy, joy, joy

So we got a late start on the preschool thing this week. I made a schedule. We start on Monday with a letter of the week and do various things through Thursday. Friday is free day. I figure I can't cram too much stuff into his little head. Overload for Little Dude only makes my job that much harder!

This week, the husband was home sick on Monday and I just knew that I wouldn't be able to do the preschool thing that day because Mike would be too busy bugging daddy! So we started on Tuesday.

So, this week our letter was

that's awesome that I found a yellow letter
since that's his favorite color!!!

We did a few activities about the letter B and then we went over some of the letters that we have learned over the past few weeks. About halfway though, Little Dude started a little dance when he got something right. He has been so creative lately, but this was just the pièce de résistance.

I don't think I have laughed that hard in a long time! And anyone with little kids knows that the more you laugh and make them the center of your attention, the more they do what made you laugh. And now that I've taken pictures and a little video, that will only make him do it 10x more!

Maybe if he spends his time dancing and making me laugh, he'll spend less time dumping the chalk all over the back porch. Ok, maybe not. I hear him out there now.

He sets everything up to look like a store and uses the chalk as candy for his candy store. Very cute and very creative, but if I happen to go outside before he cleans the chalk up, it's a recipe for disaster.

Seriously, how have we not had to go the hospital with this little boy?!? That's a miracle in itself!!!

Until next time.....
