Good Golly G

20

Yep, that's right. G-20.

I've been racking my brain all day to find something to blog about. Can you tell it was a boring day in my parts? So I'm going to vent my frustrations on the eve of the G-20. First and foremost, the
dumbasses protesters. I understand that not everyone agrees with everything that's done in this country. And if you disagree, than I believe you have every right to stand up for what you actually believe is right. But dangling off of a bridge to prove your point...well, that's just dumb.

And now the traffic. So far it's been great! I would like to send a huge shout out and a great big thanks to all involved in the G-20. They did an awesome job of scaring the crap out of everyone with security issues and forcing them to take the whole week off of work. Unfortunately Chris can't take the week off, but the drive has been glorious each and every day...so far!!! Tomorrow we're hoping for the same. Although part of me thinks that is just wishful thinking. Downtown is pretty much closing as of midnight tonight. So exactly how many people will be out driving in the morning? How bad do you think traffic will be? I figure hope for the best and prepare for the worst.

In other words, after I'm done here it's off to Mapquest. I loathe Mapquest!! They always give backwards directions. For example, once they told me to make a right onto a street right off of ours and then turn onto so-and-so street. Um...the street they were referring to that is off of our road is a dead end. I'd like to see smoeone make a turn off of there!!! The only good thing about Mapquest is that I can edit my directions to find an alternate way. Anyone know of any other sites where I can do this, PLEASE let me know!!!!

Well, off to find directions!

I will leave you with a picture of something really cool that Mike and I saw quite a few times today.

Until next time....

I hope your day gets better, your commute, too!

I've never heard of the G20. I know I was pissed on 9/11 when people on an overpassed delayed my commute for an hour, just so they could wave at people on the freeway. I was so pissed
