to all of you who clicked to join the "Cool Kids". If you want to join, just click over there on the left! Anyway, I'm still trying to catch up, but I will visit and hopefully get to know you.
In other news...
The Old Man (hey! That's what he calls himself when talking to the kids so I'm using it, too.) is teaching GG how to write some code.
We were listening to the daily morning podcast the other day. Usually I find them rather boring, but that's because I'm not the one who's the programmer, but this one caught my attention. This boy wrote a book about coding with his dad. The book is intended for kids and beginners. This boy started writing the book when he was 6!!! So needless to say, once payday came around, the book was purchased. It came surprisingly fast and they started today. It's so cool to watch my husband teach his child something that he loves. And it's awesome that she's interested as well.
Another big thing, well for me at least, is that I finally finished all the links in my navigation bar (scroll up). I started figuring out how to make the bar and about halfway through I started itching for a new blog design. I'm trying to win a new design from Amber, but even if I don't, I'm sure I'll start tinkering with things. For the new people, I like to change how things look so don't freak out if you visit and things look different. It's still me!
But anyway, all the links were done except "handmade". I finally added things to it so if you want, you can check out some of the things I have made.
Well, that's about all the exciting news I have for now. My kids are supposed to be cleaning, but it sure doesn't sound like it.
Until next time...

I really need to get some new buttons up. I hope you have a great night.
I need to know how to do the button thing...very cool
have a great evening;)
What book did you guys get? You should totally check out the Head First books. They explain everything step by step. Thats what they had us buy for my coding class and let me tell you I love this book. I want to own every single Headfirst book about web stuff there is. They make it like a story and it's not super technical. they explain everything step by step and they have examples on their website. They are awesome!
I noticed your nav bar the other day. Great job with it!!
I can't believe you did your top nav all by yourself!!! That's fantastic!
Stopping by from SITS - love that you created your own buttons and nav bar... gotta learn to do that...

Congrats on your new followers!
My son knows a little code but he gets too distracted with other computer things (Youtube, ahem) to get really into it. I wish I had the time to learn.
Great job with your Nav bar girl! Whoo hoo!
Ps. Stop by my blog tomorrow - I tagged you in my post... :)
You did a great job on your blog!
