What Makes Meme Stand Out

It's Monday, which means it's time for

Meme

This week is 5 things more or less
that distinguish you from the crowd.

Firstly, 2 things that I have never done......

Wings<----See those? Yep, their wings. I have never eaten one! And I have no desire to either. Too much work for such a small amount of food if you ask me!

I have tried and tried, but I just cannot use these!Chopsticks
The sad thing is, my kids can and they're only 7 and 4!!!

Another thing that I think sets me apart from others are my tattoos and piercings. It's not that I have any odd piercings (unless you count my belly button). I just have a lot - 11 total! I know people with more, but I think that's a lot.

And the funny thing is, I'm afraid of needles! But tattoos are sooo addicting! I even talked my mom into getting one! Now I just have to wait for our tattoo artist to open up his new shop....again! I wish he'd stop moving!!

Tattoo This is my favorite of the 4! I'm not going to upload all the pictures of my tats. I'm saving the bulk of the pictures for the end of this as proof that I'm not lying!

Keep reading, you'll see!!

Now for my hobby that seems to set me apart. I can't tell you how many times people are amazed because they have never been able to figure it out!

Oh, I guess you want to know what it is!!! I crochet. Self-taught, too!!

Crochet Crochet
and you can see my newest beast blanket here.

And finally, one thing that sets me apart (and I love to brag about it too!) is my travels overseas. Many moons ago....ok, it was high school, but it feels like forever ago! Anyways, I took French for years and in my junior year, I was able to take the trip overseas with the rest of the class.

Man did I work long hours at Burger King hard to be able to go on this trip!

We went from France over to Italy.

Eiffel Tower Jim Morrison
See the Eiffel tower? Cool, huh? I'm on the right. And the next one...did you know Jim Morrison was buried in Paris? It took more hours than it should have and asking many people for directions, but we found him!

And by the way, you can't ask for directions when in Paris. They know you're foreign so it just doesn't work. Talk about rude people!

Here's me and my roomies in Florence.
Florence
I'm stuck in the middle!

PizaAnd finally, the Leaning Tower. Lovely day, isn't it? Let me just tell you how mad we were that we were not allowed to climb to the top. It was leaning too much and not safe. Of course years later people were allowed to climb up it. Figures!

So now you know 5 things about me that you didn't know before. I hope you enjoyed!

Until next time...

That is awesome. I talked my mom into getting a tattoo and now she has more than me. Of course I only have two.

No wings? I love wings. Though, they do not love me back.

I didn't eat them until my mid-twenties, though. Before that, I looked at them and was like um, no I can't eat those because they are messy and I will look silly eating them so I can't do that. Then, I stopped caring and gobbled them up.

Love the boneless version...soooo much easier to eat! I'm hooked on wings!

I've been debating whether or not to get a tattoo...haven't taken the plunge yet.

Now the chicken wing thing! There's nothing better! Okay, there are better things but they are just so darn good! I love anything you can slather in ranch dressing though!

This was neat to see different things about you. I can't use chop sticks either, I agree wings are a mess. I love the travel pictures. Have a great day.

You crochet those cute little dolls. And you are self taught. Ohhh so jealous. Great job. I too cannot figure out the whole chosticks things. The wings, oh man they are so worth the effort and mess it takes to eat them. You really should try them. YUM!!

I am so bad at chopsticks too! I am embarrassed to say that chickened out of my one attempt at a tatoo....I was so scared! Oh and that picture of the leaning tower is so cool! I love the ominous sky :)

I didn't think about tats and piercings when I made my list ... I've never had a tattoo, but I love them on other people - I am fascinated by the artistry and willingness to inflict pain on yoursel. I came close to getting one for my 30th birthday, but never decided on a design I couldn't live without.

Your trip to Europe sounds wonderful. I've only been once - with my husband to celebrate our 2nd wedding anniversary. We flew business class for free (with our flight privileges) and stayed with my college roommate who lived there at the time - for free - it was the cheapest Europe trip ever! My photos pale in comparison to yours.

Thanks for playing along this week :)

You are one cool chica! I couldn't agree more about tattoos being addicting. And how cute are those little turtles! How did you teach yourself? Just by trial and error?
