Right now its time for...

Monday Minute

This week's set of questions are about kids. I ask the questions and they tell me the answers. I finally found a minute to ask both of them all 5 questions. With some prying, Little Dude gave up some answers. He kept responding to the questions with the infamous "why". Oi-vay!

Ladies first, so here are GG's answers...

1 - What's your favorite book/story?
Magic Tree House: Dinosaurs Before Dark

2 - What do you want to do when you grow up? Teacher

3 - What is your favorite game? Soccer

4 - What's your favorite food? Bananas

5 - My own question to ask: Why was the best day ever so great? I got to watch Avatar

And now for Little Dude...

1 - What's your favorite book/story? favorite story is about pirates, favorite book is about firetrucks

2 - What do you want to do when you grow up? I want my job to be selling dinosaur bones (huh?)

3 - What is your favorite game? Elmo game - Sesame street chutes and ladders

4 - What's your favorite food? fish sticks (I think he's still excited that I bought him a Kid Cuisine meal. He begged to try some fish sticks. Surprisingly, he ate every single one!)

5 - My own question to ask: Why was the best day ever so great? cuz me and GG had much fun playing in wet stuff

What was the "best day ever" you ask. Saturday was a busy, busy day. It started with soccer games. They both played very well and each won their game (even though we technically shouldn't keep score!). The husband decided he wanted to get some decaf. Since I have been taking Little Dude to Caribou, I felt that GG was overdue for a trip. We got them each a smoothie. They love those smoothies so much that walking back to the house in the rain didn't phase them at all.

After we got back, the skies opened up. I was waiting to see Noah float by the house! Once the rain stopped I called them outside to let them jump in the puddles. They needed baths anyway, so why not!

After their baths, we ordered some pizza and watched Avatar. I love living within minutes of the pizza shop. It's still all hot and melty when it gets here. And I don't care what Blogger says, melty IS a word!!! And Avatar... WATCH IT!!!

It was a little long too hold Little Dude's attention and we had to have a talk about not repeating words heard throughout the movie, but it was awesome!!!

My friend Amy @ Keeping up with the Schultz family also tagged me in a fun little game. This post is getting long so Ill make it quick. I have to list 10 things that I love and then tag some people.

Lovely blog
1. Coffee, especially from Caribou
2. The husband
3. Little Dude and GG
4. My netbook
5. My iPod and my wide assortment on it
6. The Jimmy Buffett tickets that are in my kitchen. Is it August yet?
7. Chocolate
8. Thunderstorms
9. The smell of the air after it rains
10. My new phone. Or at least the thought of it. Its supposed to come in the mail today. I can't wait!!!

I hate tagging people because I worry someone will feel left out if I don't pick them. So I taking the easy way out and tagging all of my followers and anyone who stops by from Monday Minute. If you do this fun game, let me know so I can pop over and check it out!

Until next time....

What kind of phone did you get?

I'm surprised Little Dude didn't immediately run and jump right in the middle of that big puddle!! My kids and puddles are like magnets...especially when I don't want them to jump in them!
